Clarity cannot be achieved by following a set of rules.
Or by taking a particular course of action.
It is something that arises naturally.
When you are free from the conditioning of your thoughts and emotions.
When conditioned, you see the world through a filter of your past experiences and beliefs.
You interpret everything that happens in terms of these experiences and beliefs,
and this prevents you from seeing things clearly.
If you have been hurt, you may be afraid to trust others.
This fear will cloud your judgment.
And may make it difficult to form healthy relationships.
If you have been taught that money is the most important thing in life,
you may be constantly striving for more money,
even if it means sacrificing your health, relationships, or happiness.
The first step to clarity is to become aware of your conditioning.
Can you do this by paying attention to your thoughts and emotions?
When you notice that You are feeling angry, afraid, or resentful,
you can ask yourselves why you are feeling that way.
Are you reacting to something that is happening in the present moment?
Or are you reacting to something that happened in the past?
Or are you reacting with fear of what will happen in the future?
Is it possible for you to recognize your conditioning and break free from it?
You may think this can be done by practising mindfulness.
Or by paying attention to the present moment without judgment.
Can you really?
Can you learn to see your thoughts and emotions without getting sucked into them?
Your thoughts and emotions are not reality.
They are simply a collective baggage of memories, beliefs, and interpretations.
When You see the world clearly,
You are free to choose your response to everything that happens.
You are no longer at the mercy of your conditioning.
You can choose to act with compassion, kindness, and wisdom.
Clarity is not something that you achieve once and for all.
It is something that You must constantly work at.
And the more clear you become,
the more freedom you will experience.
